There are no trade secrets in what we do and we want to have our door open in order to share the experience of formation flying.
The Virtual Snowbirds wish to give everyone out in the community the opportunity to experience the thrill and challange of formation flying.

I recommend catching us on Saturday nights (see website for current times) if you would like some explanation on control inputs that the phantom uses during the tracks.

Phantom Track Descriptions:

Phantom Track #1 - Easy Turns
Running on Phantom Server #1 is the Easy Turn track. This track is intended for the introduction to the sport of formation flying. This track will take place at higher altitudes and will do a number of figure 8 passes along with segments of straight flying. This will help you to grasp how to stay in position while showing you the basic turns.

Phantom Track #2 - VSB Demo
This practice track contains the first 1/3rd of the VSB show demo. It takes you from the takeoff to high angle banks, loops and rolls. It is intended as a more advanced formation flying track. This one will put your skills to the test.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings, the servers may be down for our closed practice sessions.

If you wish to see the A-10 Snowbird skins, please be sure to visit the Downloads area to download them.
