What would be a good......

axflyer Guest

Hey

I just got FSX for xmas and installed it on my computer its specs are

2.53ghz pentium 4 processor
nvidia geforce4 mx440 with 128mb of ddr video memory

IT works OK if I put the sliders to left at about low but it still doesn't look good enough

My question is what would be a good computer and graphics card to run fsx on because my cousin builds his own and he is going to build me one and I need to give him the details, so an ideas?

thanks

Just spend as much as you can.

You want the top CPU, Intel Duo Core 2(6800)
4 gig DDR2 ram
Directx 10 video card(s) (SLI) or (Crossfire)
Copper heatsink fan
DVD player and burner
Logitech 5.1 speakers
X-FI sound blaster card
MS Vista ready

Let him take it from there.

Thanks Radarman

But is there any other way that I can get good graphics without Windows Vista/Direct X 10?

Just buy a good PCIe card if the motherboard supports it.

I think your specs are fine, but not the GeForce 4 !!!, i had 5 oh no, this is the worst, now i have 7600 512 overclocked, its so good, and i have 2.4 ghz P4(R) and 1GB. So have This should work, My memory is ofcourse DDR2

Ok, So if I just upgrade the graphics card then I should get great graphics, eg. Greekman72 quality (becuase his look great).

What would be a good graphics card to upgrade to?
