Everytime I load a mission or free flight or anything, it crashes my video card. My computer is still running and it reverts back to the onboard video card.

Is there a setting I need to fix on my video card or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't know what else to do.

Windows XP SP2
AMD Athlon 64 3400+
1.75 DDR ram
Nvidia GeForce 6800 XT
400gb hard drive space

Also, just to add to trouble shooting. It loads amazingly SLOW. When I first load it from the icon, it takes about 45 seconds to get to the menu. Then after I do the mission planning, it takes at least three to five minute before the slider says laoding completed or whatever the message is.

After that it sometimes shows the top menu, I get the sound, then I get a message telling me my video card crashed.

Delete the onboard card in the device manager and reboot.
If that doesn't help delete them both and reboot, be sure you removed all the software for the onboard card.

How can I make sure I've deleted all the software? I've checked in the device manager and it doesn't show it being there. I only show one nvidia driver in the add or remove programs list.

Not sure where else to go from there.

Well.... I'm not entirely sure what I did, but it works now, and all I can say is OMG!!! This game is beautiful

I think what may have been the problem(because I didn't change anything else. I installed the SDK and then updated it.

Everything works fine now though. Thanx for your time.
