I just purchased FSX today just got it out of the packerging and put it in my hardrive and it doesnt even load? well disc #1. disc #1 doesnt even load up and when i go to my computer the icon for the game isnt there? and my pc makes a wierd noise ;S then i tried disc #2 and that didnt load but it showed up on the my computer hardrive icon? what the hell. help please, im getting really annoyed and so is my dad ;\ ;[ Evil or Very Mad and my pc is brand new!

Make sure you have a DVD drive and not a CD drive
Update Windows
Update Direct X to 9.0c
Update the driver for your video card
Update the driver for your DVD drive
If you have a choice, use a DVD drive instead of a DVD writer

Fastest CPU that you can afford with a good motherboard.
2 GB or more of RAM.
512 MB Video card using PCi express interface.
