FSP and timing

I know that in FSP you can set a timing schedule and get bonus points if you arrive at your destination in a certain time frame but how can you predict this?
On the navigation log it gives a rouch time of which you will arrive but when you actually fly the route it takes longer than the nav log actually said. Any ideas?

Cheers

It's been said that when you add +/- 30 minutes to this figure, you will end up quite nicely with the time you really need.

I myself use a formula close to the following for flights longer then 300 nm:

(total distance - 200 nm) / ground speed = x
x + 55 minutes = total time required

The 55 minutes being taxi, takeoff, climb, descend, landing and again taxi time.

Usually works out pretty nicely

All times are GMT Page 1 of 1
