TACAN

NLC (113.30) is a TACAN station in LeMoore, CA. It appears to have DME capability only in the Bombardier, with no directional info at all coming to the pilot. Does anyone know how to navigate using TACAN?

Tacan is a military navaid therefore you need special radios to use them. However their DME component is compatible with civil equipment. Usually tacans are co-located with VORs. I guess the one you found isn't....If that is the case, it will only provide you with dme information. You can check this out for more info
