I have had a great time with FSX! I sit for hours flying to places I have visited and lived before I retired from the Army. While learning FSX and getting into tweaking the system, I was defragging my HD when a strange thought hit me. Having sat for hours looking at flight panels, I was caught up in watching the "moving file" section of the defrag program and came upon a lot files for things, i.e. airplanes, helicopters, scenery, airports ect., that I do not have on my FSX Standard. My question is: Did Microsoft follow suit and ship the Deluxe and Standard on ONE disk set as they did with Windows XP and other products? Any thoughts?
I doubt it but you can check.
Put the disk in.
Hold down the left shift key to stop autoload.
Click on "My Computer".
Click on the DVD drive letter icon, or right click on it and open.
You can examine the folders and let us know.
Being curious is fun.
I have heard of non-deluxe aircraft files being on the standard disk. I have not heard however how to utilize them. Personally, I don't understand why to get non-deluxe in the first place. 🙄
FAUST1200! When it is a gift.....does it matter? Just a THOUGHT on my part. See ya in the air!
RadarMan: Did as you suggested........The files I saw were for AVDERTISEMENT only! Your right, being curious is fun!
Take it from an old Airborne Paratrooper: GRAVITY SUCKS!

😀 That's why I look forward to a new operating system, so many new places to explore and so many new things to learn.
"so many new things to learn".
Ya about error 1335 and 1722, Microsoft provides millions of hours of in-ter-tain-ment.
Lucky I got nothin else to do but pull weeds.
