so i saw fly boys this evening, there were some really cool scenes in the movie. seeing the fokker reminded me of paul revere and the raiders sininging "snoopy and the red baron"
where in the heck can i get a tri wing to download? no freeware red baron out there anywhere? i know somebody here knows where it is if one exists at all.
c'mon, hook me up with a link, or at least a clue..... i never have a clue.....

😀 Yes, I enjoyed that conversation very much also, hope you enjoy flying those beauties as much as I did.
the fokker file i downloaded has a kajillion different paint schemes, it's an attractive model. i don't know how the real plane is to fly, but the model wants to be nose up, and requires a generous helping of trim to make it fly level. it also really really likes to stay in the air, and you have to carefully land to avoid bouncing. i imagine if the real deal is like that it must have been quite tiring to log the kind of airtime some of those guys must have had. still, with the minimalist cockpit, in my mind, that's what flying really is.
