Please help adding liveries to FS 2004.........

bartez Guest

I have basically downloaded a new livery for the default boeing 747 and am new to this and cant get it to work. Sad

It is a Virgin Atlantic 747 - 400 paint job.

I have put the texture.vasp file in my b747-400 directory.

Then the next part is where I get stuck, and have no clue how to do it.

It says this:

Place the text below in the aircraft.cfg and replace the "x" by the next availeble number

[fltsim.x]
title=Boeing 747-400 Virgin Atlantic special
sim=Boeing747-400
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=vasp
kb_checklists=Boeing747-400_check
kb_reference=Boeing747-400_ref
atc_id=G-VFAB
atc_airline=Virgin
atc_flight_number=205
atc_heavy=1
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type="747-400"
ui_variation="Virgin Atlantic special"
visual_damage=1
description="More than 30 years ago, the 747 made its first tr

Any help fellas?

Add another to the file, below the first and make it [fltsim.1].

Thanks very much guys I actually found out how to do it by searching the site!

However I have encountered abother problem, I have added some other 'opensky' aircraft in the same way but when I load the game up the aircraft is there but with no paint job!!! Confused

Its a never ending story!! Mad

The answer is probably in the aircraft CFG, make sure your new repaint cfg matches the exsisting cfg.
