Since b4 fs2002 and thru 04 St. Joseph and St. Louis, Missouri and perhaps others that I do not know about always listed airports in in the city in question but in FSX they do not list airports in the 2 cities above. Is this a deliberate change or perhaps an oversight that may be corrected by a later patch. Does anyone have the answer? Thanks eray at email@example.com
Not sure. I have found some airports in strange places. Like while looking in the UK, lo and behold I see Diego Garcia. Its a little spit of land in the middle of the Indian ocean. BIOT (British Indian Ocean Territory). Flew into there once back in the Navy days. But why its in the UK? Guess they listed it there becuase it belongs to the UK, but not IN the UK. Maybe they did the same with St Joe...misplaced it?
The history of (FJDG) Diego Garcia is an interesting one. One of the more in depth articles can be found here.
BTW, in fs9 FJDG is also listed under Country / Region - United Kingdom.
