How are we supposed to know which file to save the download to? It doesn't say.

For example effects, scenery, aircraft etc which one?

How do we tell?

This seems to show how to extract files which I already know. I just don't know where to extract most things too. Apart from Scenery and Aircraft.

When there isn't a name for the file like Textures for example, where do they go. Files such as Splash Screen databases etc. In flight fly away etc etc. They are all in Utilities.

Everything stays with the aircraft folder into the main aircraft folder.
If the read me asks, then you put the gauges into the main gauge folder, effects or sounds the same.
Only if the read-me says to.
You put the contents of those folders into the main not the folder itself.

Then your left with a aircraft folder with, textures, panel, cfg etc all in one.

There are 146 files in that category and since we're talking Utilities, the ways they might be installed are as numerous as the files themselves.

If the file you've downoaded doesn't include decent documentation ie. installation instructions, look for the same file at www.avsim.com or www.flightsim.com
