Just completed 747 test flight successfully ....ok it took me four tries but hey I finally landed safely and won me the prestigious “Commander’s Award for Civilian Service” !!! and the test pilot survival award to boot!!!...Now I have completed the three heavy metal missions successfully.....wow I’m impressed with myself!!! Does this mean now I’m ready for the real thing?..🙂

Unless you have your "ticket" and some real seat time in singles, mulit and IFR, I would say.....no.

Hmmm......I think I’ll just promote myself to 747 Captain!!!....how do you guys get your rank?....does it really depend on the number of postings?...and if so how many posting do I have to submit to be ranked as a 747 Captain?

Rank insignia is based only on post count, nothing to do with aircraft types.

First Officer:
100 posts

Captain:
500 posts

Chief Captain:
1000 posts

The Ranks mean nothing, don't write posts just to raise the count. Write meaningful posts and in time, the count will increase and you will gain the respect of your fellow members.

So sorry to hear that. Crying or Very sad I'm glad you took my post above for the joke it was meant to be.

Good to hear. I think we went around in circles trying to get your signature to work in the past and I still don't know why it works for me and not you. The link is correct, it must be some setting in your profile.

Check your profile for the settings below:
Always attach my signature: Yes No
Always allow BBCode: Yes No
Always allow HTML: Yes No
Always enable Smilies: Yes No

HTML is OFF
BBCode is ON
Smilies are ON

That's all I can think of. 🙂

It's like that in mine also so I don't think thats the problem. I'm at a loss, maybe the admin has restricted you from posting pictures.
Can you post a picture in a post, like this:
