Creating Scenery and Aircraft

Everytime I download a free addon such as aircraft, scenery whatever, the description usually says something like, I had some trouble creating this or that etc etc so instead I used this and that.

Who makes these downloads? Obviously just regular people so why can't I make scenery and create aircraft?

Prople like you and me...no not me, I don't have a drop of talent for that.

You can buy programs to build, paint etc. Panels can be made for you by others.

Hey thats great info! I'am a programmer and until now havent played around much with the flight sim stuff. Dont be afraid to try you hand at programing. Its really like anything else you do, if you have the right tools for the job then the job is alot easier to do. A carpenter cant do much without a square or a tape measure! The utilities out there now are amazing. I'm used to the sweat-n-pray method of sweating for hours keying in text lines, jiggling the numbers around and at the end - PRAYING
it all works. After a while it makes you look like this Shocked

I did'nt realize there was such "drag-n-drop" type of interfaces available. I'm looking for a repaint utility if you know of any. Thanks!

I'm no repainter, so I'm not sure. But here's something that some people seem to like:

I have tried it, and it wasn't so good for me, BUT, I must admit that I'm not so good with graphics programs in general.

There is a Repaint Forum here - the people there will, I'm sure, have better advice.
