Be sure you know if you need a PCI, AGP or a PCIe card.

What are whats?

Those are different video cards and the list below are the types for different computers.
If you have a new top of the line machine then you need PCIe, if it's older you need AGP.
I don't know what you have.

If you don't know run this app.

Probably a AGP if I knew the price. It could be a integrated cars then you would have to get a PCI.
They don't make PCI cards any longer, you would search the net for the most expensive and get it.
Run the Belarc and you'll know.

Read this and check the gifs to see which is on your motherboard.

The slots on the mobo can only hold the type you need, you can't fit one into another's slot.
You'd have to return it, if they would take it back.

I looked up your model and got the spec's for your PC. Your computer has one PCI-Ex16 slot. So this means you need to look for this type of video card, NOT an AGP. If you are in the USA I recommend this video card. Why? Because it offer's you DirectX10 in the future when you switch to Windows Vista. And pretty powerful card too. Your onboard graphic's card is an Nvidia 6150 so this is a major improvement and your going to free up more memory once you get the PCI-Ex card.

How to install a video card video:

Well you said under $200, so this is it. Consider it an investment for FSX. You will be able to turn on higher settings and your onboard video card will no longer be stealing physical memory because you won't be running it anymore.
