Variable Speed Fan

Hi. I need to hook up a variable speed fan to a hang glider simulator, so that when your speed increases the fan blows on your face more, and when you slow down, you feel the wind in your face decreasing in speed. The program I'm using is FSX. For this to work I need to hook into FS somehow. I know that it is possible to do, because people hook up instruments to FS to make their own real life like cockpits. Do you know how I would go about doing this, and if not do you know of a person I could contact or website that I could take a look at?
