Can someone explain this to me-If I'm going west when the sun is about to set, is it true that I would get say from San Francisco to Hawaii at night with time compression or will I arrive when the sun is still setting? Is there a bug in the time compression?
Why would you use time compression in the first place!?
I've never used it but I guess it speeds up everything.
it speeds everything up including wind, weather, sun ect..........
😕 well, I only use it when I start, ta clean up the backlogged flights from AI 😕
dont worrie i always use it soon as i hit crusing and get turned over on radio i put it on x4 so the ai dont go away. then turn it of before it time start desending

that wasts the whole flight then, anyway do what you want ur game.
i dont see point in sitting here for 2 hours when i can get the middle bit done in 15 min
See that is where you need an add on like FSPassenger... I just heard about that and you can do in flight drinks and food and stuff (a good excuse to get a beer out of the fridge too) lol.
I plan on trying this myself.
I never speed up my flights, but then I have no idea how to do that yet... only been playing for two weeks now.

Simple- just press R, then the + or - key-highest time compression speed is 128X with 16X maximum for autopilot on and with 4X maximum for AI traffic on in the flightsim. The slowest time compression speed is a quarter of the normal speed.
