As topic: Can anyone help me to "install" "Object_placement_tool" for use with Scenery Shortcut?
It says to edit the "dll.xml" in
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\
"Use wordpad or notepad to edit the file. Find the group of statements that are identified with <Name>Object Placement Tool</Name>. If not already changed, you'll want to change the <Disabled>True</Disabled> so that it reads <Disabled>False</Disabled>."
So it would be like that:
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Object Placement Tool</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\object_placement.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
I've done that and I installed the Scenery Shortcut... But the "Tools" option in FSX don't show up..? 😳
Btw.. I have FSX Deluxe
PS: I'm new in scenery modifications...
If you are new to it all I can say is back up your files and be careful 😉
Got it to work now 😀
But can anyone tell me a simply way t make ohoto real scenery for FSX? I tried the way in FSX SDK but the tutorial is very hard to understand...
