hi radarman,
just loaded fsx and it runs AOK, but my controller "flightstick pro" seems a little redundant!
can you recommend something else?
thanks

I use an old USB Sidewinder Pro (and love it) but would recommend. http://saitek.com/uk/prod/x52pro.html anytime.
I see quite a few members here with the top models and they're quite pleased with them. Both for operation and quality.
If you fly mainly airliners you might want to look at a yoke and pedals.
I fly mostly GA so a simple stick (with a twist handle) is fine but a yoke someday might be nice.

X52 over 30 programable buttons almost making the keyboard absolete

i think everyone here now knows that i will gladly stand behind any Saitek product

most of the new GA airplanes are going stick, not yoke !
e.g. Cirrus, Columbia, Diamond, just to name a few.
