i download them into the planes folder 😎 😂
Plz read the readme file. It clearly states that u hv to unzip them in any temp folder then copy the texture folder into the tagret foler.
All instructions are briefef with every download. Plz go through carefully
did that but when i look for the plane its not there
and yes im running windows vista 😞 🍻

As long as it is an FSX download and not a texture it should be there.
Check under the manufacturers name.
Which Aircraft are you trying to install?
different ones 😕 😎 ❗ ❗ ❗ ❓ ❓ ❓
🍻
oh yeah radarman i mean they
dont show up in the file
U also hv to modify the aircraft.cfg are u aware of that???
OK here's what u have to do step by step to download a 747 for example:
1. Download the 747.zip file
2. Unzip the file to get the texture and readme
3. Copy the texture folder into FSX\simobjects\airplane\747-400
(for a different aircraft select the appropriate folder)
4. Open the readme with notepad and u'll find somethin called as
<flight sim.x> etc......
copy that entire strech.
5. Open the aircraft.cfg u can find this in FSX\simobjects\airplane\747-400 and paste it after the last variant and change x with next no in the sequence.
6. Save and close the aircraft.cfg and u should get the aircraft.
Cheers
i try to copy it but winzip wont let me extract it because it says that it
cant creat the directory 😕 😕 🍻
I'm sure you are doin somethin wrong. Someone may be able to talk you through the process once and u'll understand how easy it is.
Post a screenshot of the error message that WinZip gives to you.
Try this"
After you get a aircraft downloaded, Right-click the .zip file and select OPEN, This will not .zip the file but it'll show you whats in the .zip file, when you get inside the.zip file. look for a file called readme.fst, or just readme.txt, then read that text file. IF you can get that far then you are in business.
If you have the C-17 that in FSX miltary section, then I can help you with that one.
how do i post a screenshot ❓

That's not a usable link, you see it because you are signed in or have a cookie. I just get Photobuckets home page.
here it is
this happend on all planes
From what I see, there is .zip files in Microsoft Flight Simulator X>Simobjects>Airplanes. They shouldn't be there at all. not even the copied files. You have to extract the .zip files into a folder (preferrably the same name of the aircraft) then take the folder and and copy it into Microsoft Flight Simulator X>Simobjects>Airplanes.
I would move all the airplane .zip files to a temporary directory, and right-click aircraft.zip file, then select OPEN (this will not unzip it) there you can see a install.TXT file or similar file, and that should tell you how to install the planes.
I have F22thunderrptor, PM me and I'll help you out.
I cant find a .txt file in the folder

When you Right-click the raptor.zip file with OPEN does it match this.
I can't believe this... why not simply follow a PROPER tutorial?
