Here is a question, if you fly an one engine aircraft like the 172, dont you ever get scared in the though that your engine might for some reson stop working ❓ ❓

It's rare a healthy engine will stop working. If, for some reason, it does stop working, then you shall have planned for that not only in your training, but your pre-flight briefing and whilst flying the route. I routinely check for open spaces, empty fields etc within 1 mile to initiate the forced landing.

Also, in training, you will do a lot of PFL training (Practice Forced Landing) where your instructor will pull throttle to idle and you simulate the checklist and descent to around 150ft, not very high at all so you'll see then whether you will make it alive. You are also examined on this skill in your practical test.

Is landing hard? I mean when you are trying to straighten down the plane and everything, isnt it hard???
