Hi Guys,

All these days I had a AT Radeon card x550 model with 256mb ram...... I've got this new XFX Nvidia 8600 GTS model which had a core speed of aound 675 mhz and the shader clock runs at 1475mhz. This is also a 256mb gddr3 ram card.

My existing specs are:
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo
Motherboard: D946GZIS
Ram: 2gb ddr-2 667mhz
All the above on Windows XP SP2 running FSX with SP1

If anyone has a similar card/config kindly let me know what kind of performance you're able to get out of it???!!!! What should be my target frame rate? Should I use high AA and Adaptive AF? Unfortunately I have only 2 slots for ram on motherboard which I cant increase!!!!!!

2 gigs is enough for FSX if you are using Windows XP. As for the Video Card, the 8800 GTS is more than enough. I really haven't adjusted and settings to the card itself (my card is an superclocked 8800GtS). If you want to increase anything for FSX, I will change to a faster processor.
