When you point the mouse to a control in the cockpit the screen turns white then comes back to normal. What would cause this? The fsx patch has been applied. Happen only in the cockpit view.
Alienware 9750
2 Ghz duo cpus
sli 7950
2 gig of ram
160 g hd 7200 rpm

Thanks

It usually happens when the card is weak, but you have a nice card and CPU.

Try turning down some of the power hungry slides, like shadows, clouds, autogen, AI traffic.

See if you need the latest drivers also.

This is caused by some weirdness with the cockpit tooltips. If you deactivate tooltips it should go away. It's under the aircraft display settings.
