I've been playing around with some of my AFCAD files. I know in FSX you can define the length of wing span in the plane's .cfg file so that it can't park in spaces that are too small for it.
Do you do this for FS9 too?

AISmooth looks like it should fix my issues.
It uses feet. If you check up top it will give you default sizes when you create a gate or ramp spot.

AISmooth doesn't controll parking and take-off junk etc..
It will only guide planes to the airport with controlled amounts.
From 500 feet AGL AISmooth will not have any influence on the AI aircraft
There is a program called "Aircraft Parking Manager" where you can alter the aircraft's radius, the model doesn't change or anything it just makes the sim think it is smaller, or alter the parking spots using AFCAD to accommodate larger aircraft.
