hhhmmm that's weird have you tried reinstalling the scenery you installed because in some cases ad-on scenery will raise the runways a bit so just try reinstalling them and see what happens

you should also take this advice:

always backup your files!

I tried that..

What ever it did it compleatly messed up FS9 tried random airports around the world..

Singapore it dident even start me anywhere near the runway i was in a field near the airport..

I am going to re install FS

Only problem is with all my addons it will take forever..

Especially with FS Genesis

After a reisnatll of Vanilla FS and patched and just to test..

ITS STILL DOING ITT!
I give up...

Afetr a re install there should be no reason why it would do it..
Was a complete revoval too even registry entries..

When you say complete removal, did you remove all files and folders INCLUDING the fs9.cfg in your documents and settings folder?

copy all of your add ons into a different folder outside of the fs9 folder so then you dont lose anything

There is a lot of mistakes you can make in FS9 when adding things to it. I myself have had to re-install at least 5 times 😀

Sometimes is the only way out! I hope it turns out well 🙂

Very true bel - sorry to quote you here but I think you're looking at it from the "thoroughness" angle and that is precisely what I'd suggest.

My question Pappy55 is: HOW did you 'remove' it. You can't just delete FS and then look for leftovers. Let's say you had fs9 SP1 installed and the crack, you'll have to uninstall the lot in reverse order. That will get rid of your gremlins.

You know what I think i forgot to remove the config files..

I Will uninstall FS again and make sure they are removed too..

I have once again removed everything.. and still i see it

Also tried it on a pc that has never even had FS on it..
It happens on that too

I am told by a VA friend that it is normal in FS9 and I may just not have notised before because lets be honest when do we really have time to sit and look at the lights. except take off and landing when we are in total concentration on flying..
