I downloaded the Tom_a340 off of simviation.com and I was so excited because it came with a vc. I started the plane and the vc was all messed up, there were no gauges and most of it was just black. If you have any way of fixing it please tell me. Oh ya and same thing happens with his A330 too.
Check the read-me, the contents of the gauge folder may have to into the main gauge folder. Not stay with the aicraft folder.
Do you have both service packs installed? that could cause problems if you don't.
That was a minor problem i had was i didn't have sp2 installed so the ND bell UH-1 VC would be all black. So i installed sp2 and the problem was gone. So you might want to check on that.

I am suspecting these are POSKY aircraft for FS9 in which case problems should be expected.
Hey thx guys, I will install sp2 when I can, I am doing battle with one heck of a virus right now on my computor and might have to restor the hard drive 😞 .
Well I tried to download the sp2 pack and it failed, I tried again and it keeps failing. So I went to my update manager and I downloaded anything I could but that also failed, any help?

I have tried to download SP2 for FSX Tailhook and all I get is a 'connection reset' message. I have tried mirror sites around the world and cannot seem to get the SP2 for FS X. What am I doing wrong, it just seems that since they made the Acceleration Pack, MS has done away with the free download of the SP2. Are there any other sites that I may have missed for the Service Pack 2 until I can get a copy of FSX Acceleration? And yes I have the same problems with the Bell Huey's and Tom's A340's and A330's, black screen and no working VC.

I forgot to say that I already have Acceleration installed but no luck.
