Hello again guys(mostly tailhook ) I was watching a youtube vid. of a United airlines 777 takeing off, it was equiped with the P&W 4000 engines. This engine has the most amazing spool up sound and buzzsaw sound, I thought to myself (I must have it). So if you guys know any links to a sound that captures these details please tell me and if not don't worry about it, I can just use a GE-90 sound set.
At flightsim: pw4168.zip
I don't have this one so I don't know what it sounds like.
Here's a good one including GE90, PW4080 and Trent 800 so you can knock yourself out:
I like the RR Trents - just can't remember which ones I have right now.
Hey thanks dude, your quickly becoming my go to guy for these downloads.
If you need any help I would really like a sound set that sounds like this.
It appears that the 3 engine file linked above is missing at that site. Does anyone have any other links to these sounds?
Hey I found a really nice sound pack on flightsim, it's just came out on their site and it sounds really nice. It even has a sound cone! https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/2652/fsx-pratt-whitney-pw4000-series-sound-set/
Hey, thanks, I actually just came across that one myself!
Funny, now that I have the model working, the 777 is a real slug on take-off and climb! I wonder if that is representative of the real aircraft or is it inaccurate dynamics? The plane has way more trouble than the 747 when climbing and can barely sustain a climb rate of over 1000ft/min @Mach 0.6 when above 20000ft.
Hey tail hook that combo download works now and the sounds for the P&W are just what I was looking for. I also used the trent 800 but it has some distortions in the sound when sitting at idle, If you know a solution to this please tell me.
