I need help!

Hi, I've been using this website for a few months now, and I really enjoy it.
I just have one problem. A lot of the aircraft that I download are supposed to come with effects (like afterburner), but when I use them, there is nothing. What I usually do is extract the Winzip file, and then copy and paste it under Simobjects/Airplanes. Am I doing something wrong? Should I put the effects in a separate folder? Help?

Always follow the read-me that comes with the download.
It's written by the designer of that particular aircraft just for that aircraft.
Only he knows exactly what to do and what the aircraft was meant to do.
Some come with afterburners some don't.
If it does, he designates a keystroke just for that aircraft.

Yes. Put the Effects into the Effects folder.

PS: FYI what you're extracting is NOT a Winzip file but a .zip file. Winzip is a program which you do not need, it will just confuse you... ditch it 😉

Most recent fighter aircraft don't require a keystroke - they are automatically activated by the throttle.
