Does anyone know what rotor trim is in the Robinson Helicopter? It is not in the Bell Jetranger.
In the real-world R-22, there's no such thing as a "rotor trim". Rotor RPM is maintained between 102 and 104% RPM (approx. 591 RPM) by a governor on the engine. In a turbine helicopter, engine RPM is also governed, but may be "trimmed" up or down by a "beeper" switch mounted on the collective.
Hope that helps.
