I can't get Flight Sim 2004 to fail engines.

Has anyone had this issue. I can make instruments fail but the engines will not. I have tried numerous aircraft. Thanks !

Hi,
I can't say I've had that problem, but if they don't fail when you have set them to fail, then you can just shut them down manually in the throttle panel.

I think I found the solution. If two machines are running MS2004 one running as the instructor and the other as a student. The instructor mode can monitor and create all the emergencies such as engine failures. I do find it interesting that I can create instrument failures without the instructor. Thanks for the input !
