Help for VA (Newbeginner)

Hi, i would like to join a VA. I have tried many now, but almost every VA is flying on VATSIM. VATSIM is (REALLY) too detailed for me, and i cannot figure out the FSUPIC. Can i get assistance on what to do as a newbeginner? Can anybody recommend a VA good for a newbeginner?
