New to Personal Sims

karchy Guest

I'm interested in creating a sim for home use. Not tec savy.
Is this forum the place to start?
I owned and flew a citation 501SP for a few years. Non comercial ersonal use only.
Is there a sim for the 501 with a 501 panel? Is it base on Microssoft?
Can I use this forum to walk through the process?
Thanks...............Ben

Yes.
It of course will run on any of todays computers.
The better you have the better it looks and runs.
You need Microsoft's FSX Gold and a nice joystick.
We and the members will help where we can.

You can get what you need here https://www.simshack.net/ or from your local store or Amazon.

The Citation you mention, we have 2 free versions.

These are more advanced versions for sale.

Thanks RM

I will go with the Gold

Does the CMH Products Flight Sim Yoke sound like a good choice for a Joystik?

Yes, I have the Saitek yoke and pedals.
It's very realistic but a touch more difficult than a joystick at first.
I used a joystick until Vista64bit came out.
I now use W764bit but they didn't come out with new drivers for it.
