I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 and trying to successfully re-install MS flight simulator X Deluxe. It does not have any sound. I have checked and rechecked settings all seems fine. I've uninstalled $ re-installed three times using both the repair options as well as the complete install. Still I have no sound. All my drivers are up to date with room and memory not a problem. Any ideas? Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you can help I'm grateful.
Best regards,

First hit the "Q" key, if that doesn't do it see if this helps.

RaderMan, Class Act, thank you for your time. Getting more involved not only did my flight sims all go south any program or file using Windows Media somehow became affected. I am sending this while office is loading on the new harddrive. Before office, MS Flight Simulator X Deluxe was successfully installed. Captian, You're a good man, for years I have read/looked over the fourm where your name I've seen many times helping others. Keep up the good work!

Thank you, very nice for you to say.
I'm pleased that you will now will have the sim back and sorry that it was the h/d.
Mine has been slow in loading (h/d not sim) and I fear that time has taken it's toll on it like it has yours.
Good luck with the new one and enjoy flying again.
