Approach-to-final?

What's about approach-to-final? How does it work?

First I activate the right approach then... ❓ when I can activate approach-to-final?

The approach to final can be activated from anywhere on your route, but it should be activated until you are near it. If you are doing a GPS approach, the when you are near to the airport, go to PROC and click Activate Vectors to Final, this lines you up with a runway, whereas the ordinary GPS routing doesn't.
