I bought FSX steam edition, but I did't note any improvrmrnt compared to FSX gold edition. By the way, I'd like to download updates. Where and how I can find them?
Here's a few to start with.
Only install one at a time and then try it out.
If you load too many at once and have problems you won't know which caused it.

My problem is that I can't find the right site to download updating. In this site(fly Away sim.) I found only the description of FSX S.E. April update, but it's impossible to download it.
Unfortunately I don't use Steam so I can help you there.
Lets hope someone comes along that can help or you can post your problem on Steams Forum.
Most (if not all) of the FSX addons we list work with FSX:SE:

If you are referring to the updates here:
https://flyawaysimulation.com/news/4742/
https://flyawaysimulation.com/news/4716/
- then these will be applied automatically within STEAM itself.
I'm referring to the FSX S.e: updates, but I'd like to know why if I connect to the site you kindly advised me, I can only see the image "April update" but there isn't any button to click upon and download!
Hi,
Today I purchased FSX Steam Edition and have tried to get the FSX Grob Tutor add-on to work. I have acted on all the download tips to get an add-on to work however have had zero success - I then tried other add-ons, to the same effect.
Perhaps it is because the tutor add-on only works for certain , or is there something else I am missing?
As a gross error check, the add-on files are in the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator x\simobjects\airplanes\UKMIL_grob_tutor
There is the usual panel, sound and texture files, along with two model files (.single and .twin - pretty sure the grob is a single prop only?) and many other texture files, along with the aircraft.cfg & .air file.
Please can you point me in the right direction? I have no 'effect' or 'gauge' folders/files anywhere.
Cheers[/quote]
I meant to say "for certain locations" above, i.e. RAF Cranwell.
