Hello All!
Having played MS flight sims for years, I find myself with more time to devote to FSX now than in recent years. Being an RAF nut, I have just downloaded the Simshed Tucano and a BAE Hawk. Both have no visible external textures and the Hawk has no gauges in the 3D cockpit.
I've checked and double-checked the extracted files and can only assume that my lack of familiarity with FSX add-ons is biting me very hard on the arse!
Do any of you nice folks have any nuggets of help for me?

As a test, shut off autogen, clouds, shadows and AI and see if that helps.
The aircraft may be too graphic intensive for your computer or video card to handle, this will take a load off it.
