The main tip is to do exactly what she says, maintain speeds, vectors, etc. When she asks you to perform the high speed descent just before the shortfield landing make sure you retract the gear, then extend it again once at the bottom of descent altitude. Landing is hard, but as long as you end up on the runway she is not bothered. All descents, apart from the landing (where you will have to vary) are to be performed at 15 manifold pressure.
