747 is not shown in FSX list to fly

Had to reinstall FSX, installed sp1 & 2 but 747 is not shown to select.

Any help? .....thanx ....nick

If you mean the default 747 have ticked the box show all aircraft in option's .

Thanx, Yes I did, 747 shows in the list of planes in win explorer.

In trying to solve the problem in previous post I run the repair off the FSX CD & now FSX will not run. The opening icon shows but hangs.

Go to "Documents\Flight Simulator X Files" folder and delete the contents of the Logbook.bin , try starting FSX now.

Took the good advise of a friend that after repairing FSX I should reinstall both FSX SP1/2 and that solved the problem for both problems, the instruments and the 747 not showing up. I am back in business. ....nick
