FSX SP2 ?

Jim Lynch Guest

What does the SP2 mean that follows FSX ? I have had some trouble using downloads with this designation ? ? ? 😞

SP1 and SP2 are patches for FSX.
With them you get to use all the cores of your CPU.
Without them FSX will run slower.

Thank you Sir. These S1 and S2 patches appear to be quite large. I have the basic original copy of FSX. Would it be worth my while to download and install both these patches ? My basic version is presently running just great, and I would hate to screw things up. ( Which I have been guilty of on occasion. ) How safe and easy is it to download and install the patches that you have provided links for ?

Thanks again. - Jim[/u]

If you feel that you are satisfied the way it is now then don't install them.
They don't install easily.
The best way to have them in FSX is to buy The Acceleration Pack or FSX Gold, it has them built in and installs perfectly.
