hi when I did the proper steps to install add on jets like it said to do
2.Program Files (x86)
8.Airplanes(or Rotocraft)
But when I clicked on 5. common FSX was not their.
So I went back to C: Programs Files(x86) and found it in Microsoft Games doing the same steps.
so what I did was copy FSX from their and put it into its location that you listed.
now will this still work if I want to install add on jets from your site
can anyone help me[/code]

I don't have or have used Steam but it should work.
If your FSX is fully located at MS Games try it.

I have steam & have had some problems in the past.

Firstly C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\FXS does not seem to be correct to me.

'steam' should be 'steam library'

I am not sure if this is the default location because mine is installed to E:\ drive.

If your drive is correct then the address should be

C:\program files(86)\Steam library\steamapps\common\FXS\simobjects\airplanes

Also I had a problem once with an addon installation that made a completely new line of address so in effect

there were two steam library folders. The one the installation made of course didn't go to the correct folders.

Check if you only have the one.

Hope this helps
