I am a retired physician, former officer in USAF, and former licensed pilot. I want to sim short trips with Cessna 172 or 182. Once I update my computer, how do I start? Should I use XPlane or something simpler?

Very Happy Dr. Chuck here: I'm a retired geologist, college Prof, FAA Ground School Instructor, Pilot, & have been using XP since 2004. The fantastic XP11 is such a joy to learn & practice real world skills that I can highly recommend it to any pilot! I strongly suggest that you consider setting up a 3 or 4 screen wrap-around set up ( see U-Tube) to maximize your enjoyment and get the great new scenery paks for pure enjoyment!
