whats up with the flight planner for fs 2004?
all transatlantic flights seem to get routed through the far side of alaska, its a real pain in the arse. you can deleat all the waypoints between the two airports, but it takes the realism out of it for me, and it gets tiresome flying in a straight line for 3000 miles.
any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. 😉
Sometimes the Airlines do fly in "straght lines" or Direct GPS as it says on the flight planner. When there isn't very much traffic you may go Direct GPS. Another way to do it is to delete all the waypoints then drag the red line to a waypoint(s) that you want along an airway. Good luck. If you have any more questions, don't be afraid to pot them.
Don't use the Jet Airways to go transatlantic. Actually, Don't use them at all. I've found them to be crap. Just use Direct-GPS. Realism is, for airlines, getting there as fast as possible
cheers lads
