How doyou make a download work in FS2002 once you have downloaded and unzipped the file please.

Unzip the files. Then open them in a new folder. You should have something like Aircraft, gauges, effects, etc...
if you only have texture, download another aircraft, it is not going to work.
Then, open the gauges folder and copy the contents. This is my way to access the FS9 folder : My computer, Disk C, Program files, Microsoft games, FS9. Open that and find the gauges folder. Then paste what you copied . Do the same for the others. For the Aircraft folder, open it. There should be a folder with the aircraft name. Open it, and check if you have the folders, Texture, Panel, Gauges, etc... in it. Go back. Copy the folder inside the aircraft folder with the plane name on it. Go to the FS9 folder.
Paste the file in the FS9 aircraft folder.
