this is probably a dumb question, how do you do long flights? I mean like how do you know which way to go? Is there sumthin that guides you?
thanks for the help.
It sounds like you don't know a lot about long haul flying. I think it'd be best if you went through the lessons, so that you'll know how to fly the aircraft first, then, after you do that, read up in the Learning Center about Navigation, learn about the GPS, and things along those lines. Because when you ask "Is there something that guides you" I would say yes, there is, the GPS, but then you may ask "whats that" and "how does it work" and it'd take me a very long time, whereas, Microsoft did it wonderfully for you in the Learning Center.
You have to learn how to walk before you can ride a horse...you can't just hop in a plane and expect to know what to do.
If you mean like a flight that would take a long time and you need to navigate you should first go to the flight planner and plan your flight to where you want to go and when you are in the air you would use your GPS (global positioning system) to navigate. When you get more advanced you could use other navigational aids like VOR or Deduced rekoning. If you would like to learn how to do that you could take the flying lessons by Rod Machado or ask somebody on the forums. Good luck!
