Try it again starting with the un-zip.

Do what TTT said then:

My Computer is an icon on your desktop, double click on it.
Inside your main drive icon is "C".
Double click on that.
Look for a folder "Program Files".
Double click on that.
Look for a folder marked "Microsoft Games".
Double click on that.
Now you have a folder Flight Simulator.
Double click on that.
Laid out are all the simulator folders.
Follow the read-me that came with the aircraft.

If it won't work, tell us what the problem is. Some aircraft are listed under the manufacturers name.

😳 Just d/loaded it and installed it

When you open the zip file, drag the stpma folder to your fs9 aircraft folder.

Thats it

I have found that if you use "copy to",sometimes it will not work
so I always resize my windows so that I can open 2 (or more) folders and work with them.
That way you just drag and drop, and you know they are going in the correct folder

Why,when you crash this aircraft(and you will 😉 ) does someone run up and stick a trophy and some flying stars at the wreak 😂

Oh on my fs it is listed as the 1st aircraft below "any"

I have downloaded the P-51 Mustang in its respective file, the search for a read me file was unsuccessful although I located the original Flight Sim Read me file.

This is the string that contains the download:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\P-51D Mustang.

I have placed the Flight Sim CD in the drive and it was unable to find the P-51. Now what?

Your string is correct, if you unzipped the download.
Now follow TTT's directions. Just drag and drop the folder into the main aircraft folder.

Which mustang did you d/load?
Your string to the file seems correct ➡
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\P-51D Mustang.

except the end,as it shows as ➡

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\stpma

So it looks like I may have the wrong mustang?

I got the Mustang on page 1 of the military pages in Fly away simulation.

😕 Thats the same one I d/loaded(the d/load is called "stpma")
So you are doing something wrong 😕 Mad

(1st pic) open the stpma zip file-(2nd pic) drag that to an empty space on your desktop(3rd pic)
now drag it from your desktop to your fs9 aircraft folder(4th pic)

thats all there is to it
