"Awesome!!!
This is a labor of love! Actually has 8 "real turbines" at about $1500 each! It took over 2 years to build. Takes multiple pilots as there are so many things to control. Think they are nervous during the maiden flight? Unbelievable that someone would make this - all real turbines! Check out the movie link below."

Cool video
Its from a TV series about model making and was shown last year on one of the Discovery channels(H&L) I think(or Bravo)
It even showed how they made the jet engines
That's cool! 😳 How fast dose it go?
Definitely cool! I wonder how many jet engines in this B-52? My guess is two would suffice. Certainly not eight as the real ones have. The engines sounded great.
The pilot flying this expensive toy must have some big ones (and good piloting skills) when he attempted his first ever landing. He had to be holding his breath. 😳
Has anyone here tried to fly an FS9 aircraft in for a successful landing using the "Tower" view?
I doubt I could do it.
I TRIED TO LAND USEING THE TOWER VIEW BUT I LANDED ON THE TOWER
michlin, see qoute at bottom half of original post.

The TV series is running again in the UK on "Discovery Home & Leisure" which has just been renamed to something else

I think the channel is now called Discovey Real Time or something
I would love to see a model jet plane with working thrust reversers.
that is amazing stuff!
S! to those guys and LOL at the guy holding his head when it came in to land!
Must of been terrified as you say!
Tower landing? hmm me not trying it 😀
