I dont see thrust reversers in any of the keyboard command assignments. Do they call it something else in Pilot jargon?
Is there a key that is assigned to thrust reversers by default?
i'm starting to do landings with the heavies and it is pucker factor max! cause i keep exiting the runway at the last possible taxiway at about 40mph! my passengers are spitting on me and little kids are kicking me when they deplane. One old lady hit me with some sort of Itialian sausage the other day and i still smell the garlic!
I know i can use the thrust reversers in manual with the mouse but during my landings i am already short about 1.5 hands as is.
HELP!
Put your engines in idle then hold F2. That should do it. You can also engage your spoilers by pressing /. And don't forget to turn on your autobrake. 😉
THank you very mucho 🙂 i have been using the spoilers and autobrake (set at 2) that whole [F2] thing is what i was looking for! You get a free ticket on my next flight!

After you hold down the "F2" key to start reverse thrust the engines will continue on reverse thrust until you hit the "F1" key. When your plane has slowed down enough to suit you hit the F1 key and then use brakes only. 😀
You can also turn off numlock and then hold down 3 [for few a few seconds] and once that is done you thrust reversers will come to life.

To disengage the thrust reversers I tap the throttle forward a tad and quickly bring it back to idle.
