WOW

Be warned this is a MONSTER down load of 180MBs

Its from NASA and it covers the globe

The US coverage is awesome Ninja as it not only gives you images but very detailed street maps

The rest of the world is covered just by images with different flavours

I did make a video so you could see what it was like before d/loading such a beast, but the video was nearly 600MBs,so it kinda defeated the object Doh!
It was a video of it zooming in from the view of the entire earth all the way down to a very well known bird and the zoom is very smooth

So have some screenshots 👍

1st up the UK and where I am now

Where I will be on Sunday

And some shots of the US

You can go from a view of the globe............. all the way down to this 😳

Try it if you can 👍

It does make you wonder just how good the real spy shots are 😳

I won't have a chance to check it out until tomorrow, but it looks good! 👍 It must be good because it is taking a while to down load. I play in my Jazz band at my school's open house in about an hour. Wish me luck. 😀

Is this download for the Flight Simulator ❓ If it is for FS 2004 then we can get a good look at Area 51 😀 .

It doesn't look like it. It seems to be a separate free program onto itself.
I'm downloading now at a terrific speed.
Done, 4min 56 sec for the download. 180mb.

Thanks TTT I'll get to it in a few days, I have things that I need to catch up on.

Yes

I suppose you could use it to make Afcads, but only the US is covered with detailed photos

It's great but I puts me down in the dumps to know that that STRM mesh isn't for the Flight Simulator.

TTT,

I am downloading now. Your right it is a big file. I have been downloading for about 5 minuets now and I am at 13%. My family and I are going on a trip from VA to Chicago to Minnesota. I want to see what things look like enroute.

Thank you,

Here is a little test for you ➡

How many aircraft can you see on approach to LAX

(Ive only found 2,but I know some of you will do loads better)
The 1st one is inland and not far from a sports ground

Other fab things with this prog are the 3D buildings and the fact that you can look at them from ground level

I must need some bins, can only find the one near sports ground.
