IBM Thinkpad X40 or X41

billyb Guest

I'm picking between these two machines and wonder if any FS2004 users have tried flying on either?

The X40 I'm looking at has a Low Voltage 1.4 GHz Pentium-M, 1 GB RAM and Intel 855 Extreme Graphics with shared memory upto 64 MB.

The X41 I'm looking at has a Low Voltage 1.5 GHz Pentium-M, 1 GB RAM and Intel GMA900 Graphics with shared memory upto 128 MB.

There's a big price difference between the X40 and X41, so if anyone out here can post real life experiences with FS2004 I will be very grateful.

I don't have any experience with either but I'd go with the X41 because of the 128 video card, if you could bump it up to 1.5 ram you'd be better off because the card is using some of the computers ram.

Did you look at www.alienware.com. I don't know the price difference.
