Joystick problem

Andy2005 Guest

Ok, not long ago I downloaded the frame rate speedup from avsim. Its been working well since I've been using it and I've had no problems until now. My joystick isn't working. I've got the joystick enabled box ticked, but when I click calibrate joystick nothing happens at all.
My joystick works in fs when I don't use the speed up and it is detected when I go into the windows control panel. Anyone able to help?? At worst I'll uninstall and reinstall the speed up to see if that helps.
Thanks in advance
Andy 😀

I would uninstall and reinstall the software for the joystick. Then recalibrate it and see if that helped.
Check the site for your stick and see if they put out new updated software.

I don't know if this is normal but I don't think there was ever any software with the joystick. It's a MS Sidewinder. As far as I can remember when I got it you just plugged it in, calibrated it and were ready to play. I'll check out the website though. Thanks

I have a Sidewinder Precision 2 Pro USB and a CD came with it.

Read this and see if it helps.

All I could find.
