Memory Slots
In my computer, I have 2 slots to put memory in, which are occupied with 2 256MB cards. Is there any way I could get a 3rd card in? Any adapters I could purchase?

I dont think they make those, but you could swap one for a 512 or 1024 if that's the plan
The plan is to keep my 2 256's, and add a 512 for 1024
I thought that I heard of it once a few years ago but it was expensive (not sure at all), if you don't have to install in pairs FEM is right on.
See if you can sell them to a small local store.
Run the Crucial tool (scan) to find your memory.

Thanks Radarman. I think I'll purchase 2 512's, and eBay my 2 256's.
EDIT - Do they still make 1GB cards? I haven't seem them in a while.
Great idea, that way they both will be the same, no conflicts.
You can get 1mb memory cards
1st though make sure your motherboard can handle the extra memory.Check the manual or google for the specs
